Baja Whale Watch Adventure - 2008
Return to EZ's Baja Whale Adventures Page

Welcome to the website dedicated to my latest adventure down the Mexican/Baja peninsula. The trip's primary purpose was to visit with the migrating Pacific Gray whales in two Baja CA lagoons that serve as popular spots for mating and calving. However, the bus ride also afforded us the opportunity to enjoy some amazing desert landscapes, flush with beautiful green plants in full spring bloom. Apparently this explosion of botanics was due to heavy winter rains, a once in every 10-15 year occurrence. It was an amazing contrast to the dry, drought like, conditions I witnessed during last year's trip (view 2007 images).

To those of you who were able to join me on this trip, Thank You! Although seeing the whales again in Baja was a special treat, getting to meet you all and seeing the joy these magical animals brought to each one of you was far more gratifying!

If you, or someone you know, might be interested in going on this trip next March, please click here to view information about the 2009 trip. The trip is very similar to this year's.

Sincerely,
Eric
